Abstract: The energy of a graph, introduced by Gutman in 1978, is a quantity studied in the context of spectral graph theory. The skew energy of a digraph is the sum of the absolute values of all eigenvalues of the skew adjacency matrix of the digraph. In this communication, we present different results and properties about the energy of a graph. We are interested especially in the Lower bound and upper bound for the skew energy of an oriented graph.
