Abstract: Human external ear electro-acoustical model [1] is used in this work to study the influence of auditory canal malformations on sound transmission and tinnitus generation. In electro-acoustic principles the electric components of the model are derived by using the analogies between acoustics and electronics. The model has a fixed structures limited to simulating average auditory canal and tympanic membrane impedances below 10 KHz [2], which makes it more advantageous compared to the current standard ear simulator.
