Abstract: In this work, we propose two methods based on Generalized Bspline to approximate functions defined by their integrals. Compared to the other existing methods, our new methods don’t need any additional end conditions and they are easy to be implemented without solving any system of equations. Efficient approximations of fractional integrals and fractional Caputo derivatives based on the second method, are constructed and well studied.
