Abstract: We study a hybrid Euler-Bernoulli system, which undergoes unknown but uniform boundary external disturbance [1]. To suppress the vibration of the system caused by the external disturbances, we use a nonlinear feedback control law. The well-posedness of the system was proved by the semigroup theory [2], also the exponential stability was proved by constructing a suitable Lyapunov function. Further, some numerical simulations are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed control [3].
