Abstract: Protection in data transmission is of particular significance nowadays. Images are one of the most desirable forms of data in the encryption domain. This study aims to provide a safe and fast image encryption technique using the bitwise XOR of the original image and the generated cover. The basic idea is to hash the original image to get a hexadecimal code. This code will be the secret key in the decoding phase. By the same hash function, we hash this key to obtain another hexadecimal code. Using this code, we generate the correspondent mask of the original image. After some images test and ...
